Job Description:

Basic Function : To participate in all activities related to the accomplishment of assigned jobs. Must be able to perform all duties noted in painter---s job description and attend all safety, foreman, and training meetings. A Foreman must be willing to train their crew members. Will uphold Painting Promise and execute the Painting Mission Statement. Safety: All employees are required to conduct themselves in a safe manner at all times to ensure the safety of their customers and themselves, as set forth in the Painting, Inc. Safety Manual. Organizational Relationships : Reports to --- Operations Manager, Superintendent and/or Sales. Supervises --- master painters, painters and apprentices. Scope of Responsibility: As delegated by the Operations Manager and/or Superintendent. Efficiently carry out painting and paint related duties in a professional and workmanlike manner. Ensure that all duties are carried out properly and within the target hours on the job scope. Specialized Knowledge and Experience : Must have a clear understanding of job-site safety. Must possess knowledge of products, have the ability to document daily activities and understand contracts, and be able to efficiently manage painters and all tasks involved with completing jobs. Duties and Responsibilities: Must be on the job site from start to finish. Must have knowledge of the proper use of paint sprayer, power washer, and power tools. Keeps an accurate account of each employee working on job, track hours in order to watch the jobs Target Hours. Must possess outstanding leadership to their crew. Must possess knowledge of products and Painting standard product list. Monitor employee attendance, appearance, language, and proper use of equipment. Ensure your van/truck is stocked with the proper tools and materials for every job. Must have ---Safety First--- hat on at all times. Have tools, provided by Painting, with you. Keep track of your tools. They are your responsibility! If you need more tools, let your Operations Manager know. Return all borrowed tools to the rightful owners. Makes performance level evaluations, whether good or bad, on his/her crewmembers and return to HR. Creates Change Orders with Customer Signatures before proceeding with extra work. Sells Additional Work Orders to current customers whenever possible. Handle customers--- questions and concerns on the job-site daily; Report job progress to customers Report concerns and/or problems to the Superintendent, Operations and/or Office/HR Manager immediately It is the Foreman---s responsibility to; To do a pre job walk-thru with the customer To notify the Operations Manager or HR/Office Manager when halfway through the job To notify the Operations Manager or HR/Office Manager on the last day of your job To do a final walk-thru with the customer Have the Quality Assurance form signed by customer Collect Report Card when applicable Take and Submit Job Photos Job Requirements:

  • Resolve assembly and production issues
  • Perform assembly on parts assembly line process for light industrial manufacturing
  • Perform production packing and assembly work for a warehouse or production company
  • Operate designated assembly/packaging equipment
  • Interpret assembly drawings to perform basic assembly operations
  • Exceeding quality and production standards
  • Prepare and clean assembly area prior to production setup
  • Assemble parts into complete assembly
  • Depending upon how similar previous work experience is
  • Set up assembly for production
  • Maintain quality and/or production standards
  • Searching for a production associate
  • Participate as an active member of the production assembly team and assemble products
  • Inspect product to verify production specifications
  • Completing production and quality forms
  • Maintain required quality and production levels
  • Operate filler and production line
  • Perform light assembly of products
  • Coordinate all production and non-production activities to meet production, quality, and safety goals (KPI)
  • Monitor quality of parts used in the assembly process
