Job Description:

We Are Hiring: Job Preference - Skills, Education and Experience:CNA certification required. - Previous ED or hospital experience preferred. Able to work in fast paced, high stress environment.Work Schedule:5 eight hour shifts (1445-2315) per 2 week period. - Extra hours available. Every other weekend and one-half the holidays required. What You Will Do: Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.

• Aid with movement and placement of patients.
• Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
• Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Document necessary records.
• Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintains medical equipment.
• Perform emergency department specific care/duties as assigned within scope of job. What You Will Need: Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • Required Credentials:
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Nurse Aide credentialed from the state of Wisconsin obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • CNA certification on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work within a hospital setting.Education:
    • High school diploma or GED required. Additional Preferences: No additional preferences.
