Job Description:

Major Responsibilities:Performs all aspects of instructional design to support diverse learning needs and priorities within the organization.Partners with subject matter experts and other learning and development colleagues to identify gaps and develop learning programs/solutions that are consistent with best practices, the principles of adult learning and achieve intended program impact.Collaborates with learning technology experts to effectively leverage current technology, systems, tools and resources to develop, execute and facilitate learning curriculum/programs in alignment with learner and organizational needs.Collaborates with team members, leaders, subject matter experts and external partners to create project plans and execute effective/timely implementation of learning solutions.Curates learning solutions to address individual and key stakeholder needs based on common requests, knowledge, and skill gaps.Stays current with instructional design best practices and recommends innovative solutions that improve the learner experience.Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:None Required.Education Required:Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field.Experience Required:Typically requires 3 years of experience in training and development or design of learning interventions.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:Demonstrated experience with a variety of training concepts, practices and procedures related to adult learning.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels.Creative ability to develop class agendas, materials, and use a variety of resources in order to enhance the impact of training programs, as well as the ability to present them in an interesting and effective manner.Skills in measuring and evaluating training effectiveness, performing quality assessments and evaluating learning strategies.Utilizes group facilitation skills, including helping participants process complex ideas, surface concerns, own solutions and clarify implications to effectively manage group process and achieve specific outcomes.Effective critical and creative thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills.Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.High level of proficiency and literacy in using the Microsoft Office Suite, similar products and other technology solutions.Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.Exposed to a normal office environment.This job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected of the incumbent.
