Description:We are looking for an Audio/Visual Technician to work in their AV Commercial Department. The candidate must be experienced in installation as well as troubleshooting. The technician will be responsible for the programming and commissioning of AV, IT, and control systems, training, documentation, and service of AV/IT systems installations. The person in this position will also assist the Project Manager in insuring projects are completed to the customers satisfaction and obtaining project sign-offs.If interested PLease Apply and Contact MICAH @414-808-3368 or txt to 414-745-3300Will not be working with "live wires".ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Programming of Crestron and other automation control systems used by Fearings. Assemble, test and commission equipment racks and systems built in-house. Onsite configuration, commissioning, and training of AV/IT systems. Software configuration of AV DSP systems. Configuration and software support for Digital Signage Systems and Equipment. Perform service and support on commercial AV systems. (depending on skills, interview process, and tenure/experience in areas listed below)THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS: Associates degree or better in electronics or IT (ideal, not required) Possess a high level of independent judgment within established procedures Excellent customer service skills 5 years of directly related experience in IT related AV systems 2+ years of regular Crestron programming experience with a high degree of proficiency 2+ years of audio Biamp, Q-SYS, and BSS DSP programming 3+ years experience in installing and/or servicing commercial AV systems 2+ years experience integrating AV and Control Systems onto IT networks CTS Certifications preferred (but not required) A can-do attitude that performs with a sense of urgency Experience with using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Etc.Experience Level:Expert LevelAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
