    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
    As a Fraud and Forensic Audit Consultant, you will be responsible for preparing audit reports, communicating findings to senior management, human resources and legal, and recommending corrective action for internal control failures. You will partner with financial and operational management personnel to communicate investigative findings and ensure that prompt and appropriate action is taken.

      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE


      • Develop audit programs and procedures to detect, identify and quantify fraud


      • Conduct forensic accounting procedures to investigate and remediate issues identified by clients


      • Conduct internal control reviews of specific processes or policies to identify internal control gaps or deficiencies, and make recommendations for improvement to remediate


      • Review financial documents to identify inaccuracies; analyze financial data and trace discrepancies


      • Deliver analysis of financial documentation including but not limited to P/L statements and business and personal bank account statements


      • Conduct investigations to detect and quantify fraud, identify the perpetrator, report to management and provide litigation support


        DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS


        • Bachelor's Degree of Accounting or related business major required


        • CPA or CFE designation a plus


        • 8 to 10 years of experience in a public accounting and/or audit position


        • Basic working knowledge of forensic type audit and fraud procedures


        • Ability to excel in a project-based environment and work successfully in complex situations


        • Strong communication, organizational and client service skills


        • Excellent time management skills, including planning, organizing and prioritizing
