We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Fleet Parts Specialist in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location.

Job Responsibilities

The Fleet Parts Specialist performs the following duties:

• Maintains parts inventory for Transportation and Equipment Services fleet operations
• Supports technicians at multiple service centers.
• Researches parts catalogs and online sources to identify the correct parts needed
• Maintains an orderly, clean, and safe parts storeroom
• Orders, tags, stores, and distributes parts as needed.
• Required to use the following software; Outlook, Excel, and the current Fleet Software.
• Enters data into the current fleet software while maintaining an accurate inventory; this involves physical inventory counts on a monthly basis.
• Drives company vehicles and equipment used in conjunction with assigned work.
• Complete reports of all activities as directed.
• Pick up and deliver parts as required and will notify technicians once parts are obtained.
• Order CHES approved chemicals and shop supplies to be used at repair facilities.
• Pays for parts using P-cards, ghost accounts and purchase orders while maintaining proper paperwork for each type of purchase.
  
  Will be responsible for the registration and licensing of all WE Energies Fleet assets.
  
  Minimum Experience Required
  
  
  • Applicant must have one year of relevant work experience or certification related to auto/truck parts procurement.
  • Must be able to work from written or oral instructions, have organizational skills, communication skills, and be able to multitask.
  • Must be able to do simple arithmetic.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and meet the company's requirements for driving.
  • The selected applicant must obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL) within 90 days of entry into the job.
  • Must be capable of driving/operating all types of vehicles and equipment in the fleet including forklifts.
  • Must be physically able to perform the essential job functions.
