Job Description:

Key Accountabilities: Provides analysis of key plant performance metrics, shares insights with plant operations leadership on performance trends
Leads proactive development of contingency plans, productivity improvement, and corrective actions to ensure facility financial results are optimized
Direct the preparation and analysis of the annual operating plan, quarterly re-forecasts, capital plan, monthly operating results, trends, and operating forecasts in order to meet facility objectives.
Own and improve upon the plant s cost standard setting process (bill of materials, labor, etc.) for enhanced plant performance reporting, and accurate budgets.
Assist on individual product costing analysis, including new product development and innovation.
Prepares and performs the process for the annual standard cost roll.
Own the plant s monthly and annual close process in an accurate and timely manner.
Review and present financial and operating metrics to the plant leadership team to drive continuous improvement in plant costs.
Partner with Corporate Controller and FP&A Director with analysis and key drivers of variances and trends.
Assist in investment analysis and decision making in areas such as Capital projects
Oversee accuracy in the plant s Fixed Asset listing, and direct determination of the appropriate depreciation rates.
Perform monthly and annual Inventory valuation.
Own plant KPI reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Work closely with leadership and Continuous Improvement Team to identify opportunities and develop strategies, understand internal business operations, and make decisions on process development and implementation to increase efficiencies and create cost savings.Experience & Education:
Bachelor s degree in Finance or Accounting with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience that includes Manufacturing/Production Accounting.
Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Intermediate/Advanced understanding of Cost Accounting principles and processes.
Proven experience must include analyzing data, using it to drive business decisions/results, and identifying potential problems.
People leadership experience.
Solid understanding of GAAP.Competencies-Skills:
MS Office with intermediate skills in Excel.
Highly detail oriented and organized.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization.
Demonstrates excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills.
Executes outstanding internal customer communication and relationship building techniques.
Must become familiar with plant operations by periodically visiting the manufacturing production floor to better understand operating processes.
