Brief Job Description Distributor Sales Representative:The Distributor Sales Representative (DSR) is responsible for the sale of industrial and fleet lubricants, related products and services in a specified geographical territory.--He/she will use market, product, and customer knowledge to identify sales opportunities, uncover and develop the customer's needs, articulate the value of the offer to the customer, negotiate and close the sale, and manage implementation.----The DSR will use effective communication skills to build strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers at customer locations.--The right candidate will also leverage these relationships to uncover business or technical problems that can be solved with our products and services.--This individual must have effective computer skills to generate sales reports, develop customer presentations, and manage their sales pipeline.--?Major Duties and Responsibilities - Distributor Sales Representative:1.------Meet goals and objectives established by management2.------Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline-developing, updating, maintaining, and communicating the account plan3. ------Develop and maintain a close relationship with vendors and customers4.------Manage price changes.5.------Optimize territory resources (time, budget, sales tools) in order to maximize results6. ------Utilize vendor marketing programs and services to increase sales7.-- Comply with company business conduct and ethics8.-- Commitment to safety, health, environmental, and operations integrity9.-- Timely response to customer needs10.--Timely submittal of work, which is free from error11. Sales territory will cover the greater metropolitan Milwaukee marketplaceTechnical and Business-Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required - Distributor Sales Representative:1.----Computer experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.2.----Ability to work well both independently and as a team member.3.----Ability to build strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers at customer locations.--Leverage relationships to uncover business or technical problems that can be solved with our product offering.4. ----Strong interpersonal skills.5.----Maintain a thorough knowledge of our products, product applications, and technical services.6. ----Show initiative by carrying out the activities of the sales position; monitoring and ensuring quality and thoroughness of own work while refraining from devoting effort to non-productive details.--7. ----Plan own work schedule, set and monitor personal performance goals, and take action to accomplish those goals. 8. ----Effectively adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and sudden or frequent changes in priorities, in order to accomplish objectives.--9. ----Execute decision-making & judgmental skills necessary to arrive at conclusions which result in productive, profit-making, or cost-reducing actions.--10. Work performance must be complete, free from errors, and analytical soundness.--11. Write and speak clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
