Onboards new business and maintains key accounts in conjunction with strategic account manager and/or business development manager. Requires coordination with the Inside Sales Supervisors and Sales Directors to implement and execute on sales strategies that grow the business. Performs critical program and customer support activities to achieve customer satisfaction. Work as a liaison between the customer and operations to ensure Carlisle IT is represented professionally and responsibly in the industry and that our organization meets the deliverables and expected level of service and quality objectives of the customer. This position requires monitoring of account trends, strategic information gathering, preparation and execution of plans that directly result in increased revenue of your assigned account base. The job path associated with this role can offer growth opportunities into outside sales i.e. Strategic Account Manager or Business Development Manager.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSSupport development of new business opportunities to provide a foundation for continuous upward sales trends while meeting all profitability objectivesFacilitate internal Bid Management Process including leading Bid Launch and Bid Review MeetingsAble to manage quote packages and make ethical and responsible pricing decisions.Act as a liaison between customer and internal cross functions to ensure all customer expectations are communicated, understood, and met throughout the organization in a timely manner.Host periodic meetings with customers to provide program status and support customer requested agendas.Provide customer support including RFQs, sales order management, and responding to internal and external customer inquiriesTranslate customer inquiries into Carlisle actions applying strategic logic and problem solving.Establish professional and responsive relationships with customers to ensure total customer satisfactionManage performance scorecards for assigned accounts. Follow up with customers to ensure Carlisle IT is meeting or exceeding the service level.Able and willing to quickly identify issues and drive them to resolutions. Assist account managers in setting sales objectives and forecasts.Maintain and grow business with existing key accountsMonitoring and reporting sales forecast and overall objectives to the inside sales manager and sales director and strive to meet themLiaise with Marketing and Product Managers to ensure brand promotion and increase salesLarge account management and developmentCold calling of new potential customers requiredContinue to develop and grow in product/market knowledgeData entry and accuracy requiredHave working knowledge of the distribution and interconnect industry, CIT product lines is a plus.
