Summary Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Regional
Sales Director has responsibility for driving growth of Sales and
Gross Profit of all accounts within their region, in alignment with
the enterprise goals of the company. The Director will manage and
lead the sales personnel in their region. He and the team will
follow a detailed sales process to research, contact, and
communicate to our customers, the company's ability to provide
products and services that satisfy their requirements while
delivering value based on outstanding service, responsive delivery,
industry leading quality, and competitive costs. As a leader, the
Sales Director continuously improves the business operations in
terms of taking care of each other, taking care of the customer,
and taking care of the business. Summary of essential job
functions:Lead the execution of the sales process among the sales
team within the region to effectively communicate the customer
requirements, allowing for efficient and profitable order
fulfillment.Research, develop, and penetrate TGC markets to
profitably expand our sales to existing and potential customers at
assigned accounts.Manage the corporate level relationships and
sales strategies at key global OEM customers as assigned.Manage the
external Manufacturer's Rep Firms, to complement selling efforts of
our direct team in the assigned territory.Become a technical expert
in customer applications with an ability to communicate how our
products and services can satisfy their requirements.Research
customer opportunities to repeat application successes while
identifying new prospective applications for our products.Phone,
email, and visit customers with a disciplined consistency to
communicate our ability to satisfy their requirements.Utilize our
company's Customer Relationship Management software to document and
follow up on customer opportunities in a consistent and disciplined
manner.Accurately respond to customer inquiries and quote requests
in an expeditious and complete manner.Follow up on job cost
performance using gross margin reports and make necessary quotation
adjustments for repeat business.Assist in the development of
marketing materials for the market (newsletters, technical
bulletins, and emailers) to communicate our capabilities to
prospective customers. Other Duties:Travel approximately 3 days per
week, up to 2x times per month. Requirements: Qualifications and
CompetenciesAbility to lead and influence people and teams.Strong
and extroverted interpersonal communication skills to maximize
customer interactions.Ability to communicate effectively and
professionally both verbally and in writing.Excellent analytical
and problem solving skills.Ability to utilize a CRM package and
other tools to manage the sales process.Technically competent and
able to provide clear direction. Education and ExperienceMinimum of
10 years technical sales with direct account management
responsibility.Minimum of 5 years of Sales Team Management
experience. Bachelor of Science in Engineering, required.Experience
in the Electrical, Electronic, Aerospace, or Plastics/Composites
Industries, preferred. Work EnvironmentHybrid - Required to be in
the Milwaukee Plant/Office 3 days a week. The work environment is a
