RESIDENT CARE WORKER Outpatient Plus: Recovery House Wisconsin

Job Summary The Resident Care Worker provides supportive,
recovery-oriented interaction and monitoring of individuals with
mental health, substance use, and/or co-occurring needs, residing
in the WCS Recovery House. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor resident and guest activity to ensure safety and
well-being. Conduct hourly rounds and regular wellness checks
throughout the Recovery House Assist residents with activities of
daily living (ADLs) as needed. Use verbal de-escalation techniques
(e.g. Vistelar) to prevent escalation and promote a safe
environment. Notify the Program Manager of emergencies and respond
as needed. Interact with residents in a recovery-focused,
trauma-informed, strength-based, and person-centered manner. Act as
a positive role model and utilize Motivational Interviewing and
other supportive techniques to enhance engagement. Record and relay
resident inquiries and concerns to the Program Manager. Communicate
all resident and facility-related incidents promptly and
accurately. Document all resident contacts, incidents, and wellness
checks in resident files. Complete documentation in Avatar for any
CCS enrolled individuals. Respond to general inquiries (phone and
door), greet guests, and maintain the check-in/check-out log.
Maintain building security and sanitation to ensure a safe and
