Job Description:
Wave Machine Operator We are looking to hire an experienced Wave
Solder Operator or Selective Solder Operator to join a leading
manufacturing organization specializing in electronic assembly. You
will be part of the team supporting the Electronics Manufacturing
team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail,
reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align
successfully in the organization. Job Title: Wave Solder Operator /
Selective Solder Operator Location: Appleton, WI Pay Range: $25.00
- $30.00 per hour Shift: Day shift What's the Job? Set up, operate,
and maintain wave soldering equipment, including flux units, water
wash units, solder pots, and selective solder machines. Create,
modify, and manage soldering profiles to ensure consistent,
high-quality solder joints. Inspect soldered PC boards and
recognize defects according to IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards. Perform
routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize
downtime. Train and mentor fellow team members to promote a skilled
and efficient workforce. What's Needed? High School Diploma or
equivalent. At least 3 years of experience operating and
maintaining wave solder machines. Minimum of 2 years creating and
managing soldering profiles. Associates Degree in Electromechanical
or Electronics - Preferred Strong knowledge of wave soldering
processes, solder, flux, and RoHS compliance. Ability to lift up to
50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and follow detailed assembly
